EVleaks has released some purported images of the Samsung Galaxy S5's interface, namely a homescreen widget and the device's lock screen.
If you take a look at the image, you will see that the homescreen interface is a hybrid of Google Now and Windows Phone's live tiles.
More from that Samsung home screen. http://ift.tt/Kv9L56
@evleaks (@evleaks) January 19, 2014 From the leaked image, it looks like everything from concert details to restaurants you've frequented, to distances you've run to flight info and package tracking is all displayed in one place.
If this is the direction Samsung plans on heading in, it will be a huge departure from the typical Android OS we're used to seeing, including all of the skins and overlays that are currently on the market.
There's no way to tell if this is going to be Samsung's final product, but considering the stellar track record of EVleaks, we can at least be assured that this is something big Sammy is considering implementing in the Galaxy S5.
Expect Samsung's next flagship phone to launch by the end of April. If this is indeed the path that Samsung decides on taking with its homescreen, will you be lining up to buy an S5?
