Another week passed and the MWC hype is slowly settling down. Everybody is still talking about the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9, but the news hasn’t been so completely overwhelmed and a lot of attention has been directed to other topics, like the ongoing Lollipop updates.
Android 5.1 was made official and builds are already available for a few Nexus devices. The new version brings a lot of goodies and addresses old irritations users had with earlier Lollipop builds. Meanwhile the industry is still busy, working on the Lollipop update for various smartphones.
Apple also made headlines with its "Spring forward" event, held on March 9. The rather pricy Apple watch was unveiled at the venue, as well as a new MacBook, thinner and lighter than ever and now in GOLD! The Xperia Z4 is still expected and as it turns out, so is an active version of the Galaxy S6, the LG G4 and not one, but two new HTC handsets - the HTC E9 and the One M9 Plus.
